Tracy Walker Band

11:30am-2:00pm

Tracy Walker started performing in Cincinnati in the 90’s (last century, whoa!). She was a founding member of the group called Ain’t Helen. After 5 years in Ain’t Helen she played solo for several years and new that she has a strong desire to play with other musicians again. So, one by one she met great players who wanted to be a part of the Tracy Walker Band. These other fantastic musicians bring Tracy’s songs to life in a way that can only happen with a group of players whose desire is to do what is best for the song.

The Sunburners

3:00-5:30pm

A one-of-a-kind party band that has been performing together for over a decade, The SunBurners entertain audience members with a spirit that only comes from being top-notch musicians on-stage and good friends off-stage. Their musical stylings are anchored by steel drums, classic singalongs, a tight rhythm section, and arrangements of hit songs with island grooves and a party-time spirit. The band’s party vibes are fueled by the fact that all of the band members are good friends, most of whom came together while studying music in the percussion department at Northern Kentucky University between 2005-2009. Each member performs with various other bands and acts in the Cincinnati region, but all of them consider the SunBurners their “home base.” The band members consider themselves lucky to get paid making music with their best buddies every day.

Jay Aronoff and I met 8 years ago, but only started musically collaborating when he called me in June 2021 and said, hey Amy, do you want to do some gigs together? I said, sure! We had 3 rehearsals, started booking jobs and have been playing fun gigs ever since. Over the past year we have curated a great set list and add new songs every gig. Jay and I have been musicians in Cincinnati for many years and have played with so many other talented musicians, so it has made it easy for us to musically sync with one another.
